Please join the ISSA Chicago Chapter for our monthly chapter meeting. This month’s featured speaker will be  Barrett Gobeyn, VP Cybersecurity, Discover.  Hours ‘d oeuvres will be served. Cash bar available. ISSA Chicago Chapter members receive a complimentary drink if they register for the meeting as a member.

Topic: Cyber Technology Innovation at Discover

Barrett will discuss Discover enabling new cyber technologies such as browser isolation, user behavior analytics and deflecting automated attacks again web and mobile applications.

Speaker: Barrett Gobeyn, VP Cybersecurity, Discover

Barrett joined Discover Financial Services in 2005.  Barrett currently serves as Vice President of Cybersecurity Services. His areas of responsibility include: Architecture & Engineering, Security Operations, Identity Management, Application Security, Monitoring & Incident Response, Vulnerability Management, Red Team & Ethical Hacking, Risk Assessments, Standards Assurance and Metrics & Reporting. Prior to Discover, Barrett served in Information Security roles at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and Accenture. Barrett was a member of the PCI SCC Technical Working Group for 5 years. He holds a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Indiana University and a MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
